The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) has revealed that Kano and Jigawa states are under-supplied as the states’ daily sufficiency levels diminished to less than 30 per cent, Daily Trust reports.

This was disclosed by DPR Operations Controller Kano/Jigawa, Engineer Buba Abubakar during a press briefing in the department’s office in Kano. Mr. Buba stressed that the fall in supply has been a major impediment compounding the scarcity in the states.

He added that, 96 filling stations have been sealed by the department for product hoarding, under-dispensing and outright diversion or violation of the department’s seal.
